{"id":1314,"date":"2018-08-25T15:53:07","date_gmt":"2018-08-25T07:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kinzie.com\/fresh\/?p=1314"},"modified":"2025-03-24T17:01:40","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T09:01:40","slug":"this-sign-always-gives-me-the-feels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kinzie.com\/fresh\/this-sign-always-gives-me-the-feels\/","title":{"rendered":"The feels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In October 1992, I answered an ad in the @scmpnews for a half-time PR Lady and landed my second job in my first year in Hong Kong.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It came after working 3 months at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laykincommunications.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Laykin Communications<\/a>, where I got the best introduction to Hong Kong media.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kinzie.com\/annual\/2018\/images\/jk-memory.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"350\" \/><\/p>\n<p>My mission at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/comment\/blogs\/article\/1349619\/jimmys-kitchen-going-strong-after-85-years\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Jimmy&#8217;s Group<\/a> was to convert a storage room into my office and create their first in-house marketing department.
